This interface of the complete Pilger mill (spanning around few achors of land) was designed as a control panel that controls the basic functions of the mill. We added a kind of virtual simulation of the whole process on to the console. Indicating LEDs were used to indicate starting or other responses from the real machines. Here the user gets a complete picture of the whole process as it is advancing on the site.

Grouping of the whole process into four groups of activities was done. All the controls were arranged accordingly, and respective processes simulated in the top display ares.
The output was a real scale Polycarbonate sheet, screen printed printed which actually was the facia of the console. |
